Monet and the Impressionist cityscape

Three of Monet's earliest cityscapes, including the Alte Nationalgalerie's own "St. Germain l'Auxerrois" (1867, detail pictured) are brought together to examine what in effect amounted to a rediscovery of cityscapes by the Impressionists.
